The 2024 Game Changers Summit has become known as a large-scale celebration of the accomplishments of the nation’s top firm owners.
For the second consecutive year, Michael and Jessica Mogill took the stage throughout the two-day Summit to recognize the most committed Crisp Coach members for their incredible transformations and contributions this year.
This highly-anticipated set of distinctions has become known as the Crisp Game Changer Awards.
Winners of these carefully vetted, highly prestigious awards were determined based on specific results each firm generated, each leader’s commitment to their goals, and more.

Meet James Hansen and Kevin Jensen
Kevin Jensen’s journey into the legal field, and the establishment of his own law firm, have been fueled by a combination of personal passion and a desire to make a meaningful difference.
“My motivation to become a lawyer was rooted in a profound commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of the legal system,” he explains. “I wanted to be a trusted advocate, providing support and solutions during some of the most challenging times in people’s lives.”
Starting his own law firm was a bold step driven by the vision of creating a practice that redefined traditional norms.
“As one of the first non-lawyers to own a law firm, I saw an opportunity to innovate and introduce fresh perspectives into the legal field,” Kevin continues. “My goal was to build a firm that not only excelled in providing exceptional legal services but also embodied a culture of growth, accountability, and community impact.”
Kevin and his co-founder James Hansen chose to focus their practice on family law because of the profound personal impact it makes on people’s lives.
“Family law encompasses critical issues such as divorce, custody, and co-parenting — areas where compassionate, skilled guidance can make a significant difference,” Kevin elaborates. “I was driven by the desire to offer more than just legal representation; I wanted to support families through their most challenging transitions with empathy and effective solutions.”

Through their Crisp Coach membership, the leaders of Genesis Legal Group have learned valuable lessons about the importance of their people, underscoring the critical role that a positive and cohesive culture plays in the success of their firm.

A crucial step in transforming the culture of Genesis Legal Group was understanding and identifying negative influences that make an outsized impact on overall team morale and cohesion.
Recognizing this — and inspired by hearing workplace drama expert Cy Wakeman speak at the Game Changers Summit in 2021 — Kevin and James brought in an expert Reality-Based Rules of the Workplace certified Crisp Trainer to facilitate a transformational Onsite Training to address the workplace’s challenges.
“The results were outstanding, equipping our team with essential tools for effective problem-solving and communication,” they concluded. “We see our investment in training programs like these as an investment in our team’s growth and success. These programs provide our team with essential tools to navigate challenges, see the bigger picture, and focus on their personal development.”
In the past year, Kevin and James have also taken deliberate steps to reinforce the importance of Genesis Legal Group’s culture by recognizing team members who embody the firm’s core values and vision. They host a quarterly team-building event, which includes an award ceremony.
“During this ceremony, we honor team members not only for their productivity but also for their dedication to our culture and core values,” Kevin explains. “Each quarter, one team member is celebrated as our ‘Impact Player,’ a title that is earned through peer nominations highlighting how they serve our clients and support their colleagues. It is truly inspiring to witness the number of exceptional individuals committed to our vision and to one another.”
