The first woman to become a lawyer was Arabella Mansfield in 1869. Since then, women make up 37.6% of the legal profession (the highest number of women in legal to-date) with 10,000 more women in law schools than men. Despite the number of women increasing in law school every year, only 21.3% of women in the field are equity partners at their firm, with even fewer owning their own firms.

Who are the panelists?
Sara Williams

Mariam Kuregyan
