Client Success Stories: Frye Law Group

3 minutes to read

When it came time to get her law practice in front of potential prospects, Kim Frye faced a unique challenge.

She had been home for more than eight years.

So not only was Kim starting her marketing from scratch, she was unknown by consumers in an industry dominated by men. In order to quickly catch up with competitors, Kim knew she needed to do something different.

That’s where video marketing came into play.

“Video is extremely important for any business that’s dealing with a consumer, and any law firm that’s dealing with regular people with problems,” she said. “Crisp does a really good job of making it economical.”

Besides the benefits of getting her message in front of more potential clients, Kim likes using video because it matches people’s attention spans better than text.

“Nobody wants to read a bunch of stuff on your website — they would rather either watch or listen,” she added. “That’s why it’s powerful.”

Kim isn’t the only one who shares this belief.

According to Animoto, a cloud-based video creation service, four times as many customers would rather watch a video about a product than read about it.

But, don’t just take our word for it. Check out Kim Frye’s legal brand video below and decide for yourself!

I don’t remember exactly when I decided to be an attorney – some people probably told me in high school, “You should be an attorney” – I was a little argumentative, stood my ground…

Once I went to college, I kind of got the bug for criminal justice and the law and went straight to law school right after college. It’s not just a job for me – this is my calling, my profession, what I want to do, what I’m always going to want to do.

Law as a whole is still male-dominated – even more women are graduating from law school, but we take different tracks; even I stayed home for eight-and-a-half years. It changes your ability to move up in the profession because moving up in the legal profession actually does take consistent effort over time.

I always wanted to be different, I wanted to set myself apart. I hope that when people choose to allow me to represent them, that that’s one of the things they’re choosing. From a marketing standpoint, I want to set myself apart, but also, since I stayed home, I was behind the eight ball.

I was behind everybody else in my career when I came back to work. And if people can’t find you, they may find an attorney that’s not a good fit for them, where I may be the better fit.

Video is extremely important for any business that’s dealing with a consumer, and any law firm that’s dealing with regular people with problems. Crisp does a really good job of making it economical – you’ve made it an economical way to get that message across.

The story that was portrayed, and the theming, and how the music fit with that was very powerful – everybody I’ve shown it to has been extremely impressed.

Video is not going away, the attention span of people is not getting longer, nobody wants to read a bunch of stuff on your website – they would rather either watch or listen. That’s why it’s powerful.
