This lesson is one that Sean Olson of The Olson Law Firm, LLC learned the hard way. Running your own business isn’t easy, and finding the right balance takes time — plus a little bit of help along the way.

The Olson Law Firm is a personal injury practice founded in 2011 that represents victims of negligence and medical malpractice throughout Colorado and Wyoming. Generally, their clients have what are considered catastrophic and life-changing injuries.

Their one goal is simple: They will truly listen to accident victims’ stories and help them heal.

Sean has focused on building a law firm where service and compassion are just as important as legal skills and litigation strategies. He knows every one of his clients’ names and their unique stories, and he is proud to be a part of making their lives better. He will stop at nothing to ensure that justice is served and wrongs are righted.

But along the way, Sean discovered that running his own law firm was more difficult than he originally thought. Having a passion for people can only take you so far in a business-oriented environment, and he knew he couldn’t do it alone. He needed to figure out what aspects of his practice he needed to focus on, find a way to zero in and optimize them, and implement a new way of operating his practice for the future.
