Gary is a Belarusian immigrant who immigrated to the US with his family in 1978. A hardworking youth, he started a number of “entrepreneurial ventures” (read: lemonade stands and baseball card trading) until he was old enough to start working for the family business.
During the late 90s dot-com bubble, Gary transformed his father’s local liquor store into one of the first eCommerce platforms for alcohol in the nation, which quickly exploded. Renaming the business to “Wine Library,” Gary grew his father’s company from $3-60MM in sales during his tenure at Wine Library.
His tenure at Wine Library inspired his journey into YouTube video production. As many know, Gary is famous for his daily episodes across multiple platforms and channels, whether you catch a DailyVee episode on YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more. He also learned the ropes of digital marketing, including PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and the foundations of eCommerce.
This dedication along with his charisma and uncanny ability to connect with an audience landed him a 2008 keynote in NYC, which led to a book deal and an unofficial reputation as the voice of entrepreneurship.
Vaynerchuk founded VaynerMedia in 2009, which has since flourished into having built best-in-class capabilities in paid media, strategy, full-service creative, influencer marketing, IoT & Voice, eCommerce, personal branding, SMB marketing and in-house consulting.
