Show Notes:
Stand out by choosing different, not louder, strategies. Chris Dreyer emphasizes the importance of originality when it comes to brand visibility. “If you send a gift during Christmas or Valentine’s Day or whatever, you kind of get lost in the noise, and it’s kind of like expected… Let’s target some different holidays. Let’s own one of those holidays.”
If you want SEO results, you have to commit. According to Chris, many law firms fail at SEO because they don’t stick with it long enough to see returns. “If you jump into SEO and you look at it for a month or two and you don’t commit… that’s the biggest one.”
AI-driven results require human strategy. As firms begin leveraging AI tools, Chris cautions that relevancy and relationships are still king: “You could write phenomenal content, but if it doesn’t have those relationships… Google’s just not going to value it.”
Grassroots marketing still wins hearts. While digital strategy scales, showing up in your community builds deeper trust. Chris shared, “Grassroots is super strong still… When you start becoming a part of the community and that brand affinity… it’s very powerful.”
Play the long game — and keep competing. Chris is unapologetically obsessed with improving and growing, regardless of milestones: “Never settle, always compete… The goalpost always moves. You know, when I first wanted to be an entrepreneur… my goal was to make six figures.”
